Welcome to Desert Island Authors. This week we're chatting to Jennifer Locklear
Now you are stranded on a desert island, which of your book heroes will you bring with you & why?
Professor Gabriel O. Emerson, because he's impatient with mediocrity. We would have an amazing beach hut and all the best seafood.
You can only bring one book with you. What one would you stick in your suitcase?
Since the Professor is coming along, the Divine Comedy. It would take him multitudes of free time to explain it to me.
You can only eat one meal for the rest of your stay. What will it be?
3.5 Cuba Libres, hearts of palm salad, all you can eat pinchos, and grilled pound cake with Mexican chocolate sauce and tropical fruit.
You can listen to one album during your stay. Which one will you choose?
a-ha's The Final Concert (2010). It wasn't really the final concert, but damn we all thought it was going to be. It's absolute perfection.
You can only watch one movie or TV show while you're shipwrecked. What will be playing on a loop on your screen forever?
You can bring 3 bonus items. What are they & how will they help?
Q-tips because sand gets everywhere. Hair conditioner because frizz happens. Sunscreen because otherwise I'd burn within the first hour, and that makes me cranky.
Rescue is in sight! If you could have anybody arrive to save you in their boat / helicopter / paddleboat for two who will it be?
Jeff Probst. He's probably been to all the islands by now and would know the way home.
