Welcome to Desert Island Authors. This week we're chatting to the fabulous Jo Richardson
Now you are stranded on a desert island, which of your book heroes will you bring with you & why?
Easy peasy. Definitely Jackson Stiles. He speaks my language. He's funny, brash, smart, sexy, and he'd undoubtedly figure out a way to get us OFF the island. :)
You can only bring one book with you. What one would you stick in your suitcase?
OMG. Um... probably Lord of the Rings, since I can get all 3 books in the one collector's item book. :D
You can only eat one meal for the rest of your stay. What will it be?
I'd have to go with steak and potatoes with green beans. I actually love pizza to death but I feel like I'd get sick of it. With steak and potatoes, at least there's some different things to choose from each day.
You can listen to one album during your stay. Which one will you choose?
Mumford and Sons, Sigh no more. I don't believe I could ever tire of listening to these guys. Although, you never know. Look what happened to Daryl on TWD with Easy Street. O.o
You can only watch one movie or TV show while you're shipwrecked. What will be playing on a loop on your screen forever?
SUPERNATURAL. Duh. ;)
You can bring 3 bonus items. What are they & how will they help?
Hm. Finger nail clippers, because I get hang nails like a motherfucker, plus, they can cut things (some things). A grill for cooking, and a book - how to camp for dummies. I think that would cover just about everything from lighting fires to building forts. :)
Rescue is in sight! If you could have anybody arrive to save you in their boat / helicopter / paddleboat for two who will it be?
Jensen Ackles. In his boat. And he's got beer (and pie of co urse).
Jackson Stiles is used to having bad days, but they’ve been especially bad since a certain tabloid reporter seems to have it out for him.
Emma Green doesn’t mean any harm. She simply sees it as her duty to report the misdeeds of certain Private Detectives who charge too much in a society where people need more superheroes and less villains; something even Jackson has convinced himself he deserves to be called, deep in his gut.
When the two of them realize they’re investigating the same suspicious circumstances, Emma makes Jackson an offer he only wishes he could refuse. But can the man who trusts no one allow the one woman he can’t stand help him get to the bottom of a murder he feels responsible for?
Exposed and unsure, these two unexpected allies come together to unmask the mysteries cloaked in plain sight while uncovering secrets within each other. A lost soul and a seeker of truth travel down the road to redemption and discover more than they bargained for.
Warning: this book contains strong language, sex, lies, conspiracy, murder, and sarcastic banter between characters.
